PLIDA B1.2 is the second stage of the intermediate-level Italian course, ideal for students who have completed B1.1 or its equivalent. This course continues to develop the ability to communicate effectively in a variety of everyday and semi-formal situations. Learners will practice discussing current events, expressing opinions and emotions, handling simple work or travel-related tasks, and understanding the main ideas of written and spoken texts. Emphasis is placed on improving fluency, refining grammar, and expanding vocabulary. 

In this introductory course, students will learn fundamental phonetic, grammatical, and lexical structures through conversations and simple dialogues. This course teaches students to greet formally and informally, introduce themselves, share and request contact information, discuss their age and feelings, and communicate in a classroom setting. They will learn to start conversations, introduce others, apologize, thank people, make reservations, order food, and ask for the bill. Additionally, students will discuss hobbies, likes and dislikes, express agreement and disagreement, count to 100, and ask and answer questions about the time.
